MicroMaster System

Today's on-premise laundry rooms need laundry equipment that is flexible, reliable, and delivers excellent cleanability every time. The MicroMaster Laundry System from Speed Queen does just that. Speed Queen does just that. Speed Queen has developed a system of washer-extractors and tumblers that work in harmony with each other to fulfill these basic needs and exceed expectations.

The MicroMaster Laundry System is designed with versatile programming for a wide range of laundering options. Together the washer-extractors and tumblers have over 30 factory preset or customized cycles to choose from. Once programmed, your laundry results are the same no matter who does the laundry or when.
Linens last longer when they receive the right care. Micro-Master washer-extractors combine cycle flexibility with programmable water temperatures for excellent fabric care and more efficient usage of chemical supplies. And a reversing option on the MicroMaster tumblers prevents tangles in large loads. Now sheets, blankets, and other oversized items stay separated and dry evenly.

Variable Speed Drive
The variable frequency drive washer-extractor model is our most innovative feature, allowing precise control of motor speeds and direction. Six speeds provide maximum flexibility and three extraction options are ideal for a variety of fabrics from the hardest to clean to the most delicate washables. The three user selectable extract speeds maximize efficiency and result in less water retention and quicker drying times, saving you money.

Extract speeds available include: A gentle extract of 40 G's for delicate fabrics; 86 G for permanent press with virtually wrinkle-free results; a medium extract of 140 G's for mattress pads, blankets, spreads, and other delicate but hard to dry items. Less water retention results in quicker drying times and reduces utility costs by as much as 40%.

Superior Serviceability
Speed Queen's removable top and front panel are designed for minimum down time and ease of service. Now troubleshooting electrical systems, as well as accessing drain valve components, is easier than ever.

 

Stainless Steel Construction
Durable stainless steel cabinet front and top, as well as inner and outer tubs won't corrode, chip, crack or pit in normal use, and they're extremely rust resistant. In fact, Speed Queen washer-extractors will maintain their lustrous appearance for years to come.

Automatic Supply Injection
The benefits of our Automatic Supply Injection System will show up in reduced waste of detergents and more consistent laundry results. Self-cleaning, multi-compartment dispenser automatically dispenses detergents for pre-wash and main wash and fabric softener for final rinse. In addition, tubing and electrical connections are provided on the rear of the machine for easy on-site hook up to a liquid central supply system.

Control Option
The MicroMaster microprocessor control provides a variety of special features for optimum convenience. It offers you a total of 30 programs to choose from including 12 factory preset programs and 18 programmable options for automatic operation. Any part or all of the programs can be erased or modified, giving you the flexibility to customize your on-premises laundry to meet specific needs. The programmable steps include water level and temperature (80 to 190( F/27 to 88( C), supply injection, rotation time options, step time, flush option, and extract time.

The MicroMaster microprocessor also provides additional time-saving conveniences, including an end-of-cycle signal, temperature readout, time remaining in cycle, and cycle count report.

Large Dryer Product Features

Energy-Efficient Design
The balance between drying temperature and airflow is necessary because too much energy put into the load causes linen fibers to be damaged and fabric life reduced. If there is to little energy, additional drying time is required thereby increasing labor costs. Speed Queen's enclosed heat system captures intake air and preheats it before entering the combustion chamber. This results in lower energy costs without increasing drying time.

• Reversing Cylinder - An optional reversing cylinder is available. The tumbler can be operated with this option on or off.

• Belt-Belt Drive - An all-belt drive system with cast iron pulleys and permanently sealed ball bearings for quiet, low maintenance operation.

• Cart Bumper and Kick Plate - A durable cart bumper and kick plate help protect tumbler fronts from possible scratches and dents.

• Ergonomic Engineering - Features such as our large door opening placed approximately 32" from floor can make loading and unloading easier for employees.

Precise Airflow Pattern and Rate
Precise airflow is required to carry the heat to the load. Too much airflow forces the heat through the dryer before the heat can be absorbed by the linens. Proper absorption of the heat by linens enables them to dry quickly and evenly, thereby shortening overall drying time. Our design pulls air through the linens at the point where they fall freely to the bottom of the cylinder, maximizing energy utilization.
