HISTORY OF INNOVATION

Statewide Laundry and Speed Queen have been ahead of the industry in providing our customers with the latest product advancements. In the seventies, we were the first to address the issue of energy conservation. We were the first to reduce water, gas and electrical consumption. To this day we lead the industry in providing our customers with the most energy efficient washers and dryers available.

In the Nineties and the Millennium, we installed the first card operated laundry equipment and Computerized Audit control Systems. Since it’s founding in 1972, Statewide Laundry has maintained the highest degree of accountability and security.

To assure our customers of collection accuracy, Statewide Laundry installs Speed Queen Electronic Display Control (EDC) laundry equipment. The EDC System records in exact detail the number of cycles each machine completes, the number of coins deposited in each machine, the cycles selected as well as the time and date of each collection.

Each commission check features a full activity report detailing gross collections per pay period and commissions paid. You have a choice at Statewide Laundry. Whether you choose coin or card options, you can be assured Statewide Laundry has the products that best suits the needs of your property.

With Speed Queen EDC machines, you can charge a different price for hot water, warm water and cold water cycles. By asking residents to pay more for the cycles that are more costly to operate, you can increase revenues and lower utility costs.

Our card systems are compatible with existing card systems in multi-family communities, colleges, universities, and other on-line and off-line debit card systems.

SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY

Our new Horizon product line features a free standing front-loading washer/extractor along with a single load dryer. These products will transform the multi-housing laundry industry. Today, water is a very expensive commodity. The Horizon washer/ extractor is designed to dramatically lower water and sewer costs. The Horizon washer uses approximately 23 gallons of water per cycle, a savings of 9 gallons per cycle compared to a top load washer. With the industry’s highest extract speed of 1010 RPM, the Horizon washer removes more water from the laundry during the spin cycle resulting in significantly reduced drying time. reduced drying times will lower gas and electric consumption and enable residents to do their laundry in less time. Horizon washers and dryers comply with the Fair Housing Guidelines for ADA by conveniently locating the controls in the front making them accessible to everyone.
